How do you calculate how many tiles I need?
1. Calculate room area in square inches (Length in inches × Width in inches). 2. Calculate individual tile area (Tile Length × Tile Width). 3. Divide room area by tile area to get raw tile count. 4. Multiply by 1.10 (10% extra) to account for cuts and breakage.
How much grout do I need per square foot of tiles?
Grout consumption depends on tile dimensions and spacer width. For standard 600×600mm tiles with a 2mm gap, you need approx 0.15 kg of grout per m² (~0.015 kg/sq ft). For smaller subway tiles with 3mm gaps, consumption increases to ~0.8 to 1.2 kg/m².
What spacer width is recommended for floor tiles?
